Hello everyone! We hope you are having a fun and safe summer. With everything going on; COVID-19, UK bank holidays, saying goodbye to August, and hello to September - we flew past our big tree milestone, almost without noticing! Together we have planted over 1000 trees in Madagascar! Thank you so much for your support so far and for the positive impact you are making on this planet!

In June 2020, we partnered up with Ecologi (previously known as 'Offset Earth') with the aim of giving back to the environment with every pair of Trash Planet kicks we make and sell. When a pair of our sneakers are purchased, we plant 15 trees in Madagascar! You can see our Trash Forest forming here: https://ecologi.com/trashplanet You can also click on the tree symbols to find out which species we are planting.

Did you know: Based on data from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2013, we know that the average pair of running shoes generates 30 pounds of carbon into the atmosphere from production.

A mature tree (15 years old) can absorb 48lbs of carbon per year. Young trees (5 to 10 years) absorb a third of this amount. If the production of an average pair of running shoes releases 30lbs of carbon into the atmosphere, then it would only take a young tree 2 years to remove that carbon from the atmosphere.

However, our shoes are not average as we are already working with suppliers and factories that are reducing their carbon emissions. Our sole supplier works on renewable energy and for each pair of shoes sold we plant 15 trees, which means our carbon will be removed a lot quicker!
